Short answer

No. Dusk does not include ROMs, ISOs, disc images, game files, or copyrighted assets. You must provide your own legally obtained copy of the original game. This website never hosts those files either, and never links to sites that do.

What Dusk provides

Dusk provides the runtime — the executable, libraries, and the infrastructure needed to load a supported user-owned copy. The Dusk project describes itself on its GitHub repository as a reverse-engineered reimplementation. The repository ships source code and platform builds; it does not ship game data.

What users must provide themselves

  • A legally obtained copy of the original game.
  • The means to extract data from that copy in line with applicable law.
  • A SHA-1 hash that matches a supported build (see supported versions).

Dusk will not load if your copy does not match a supported version. If your hash does not match, refer to the unsupported version troubleshooting page.

Why this matters

Reimplementations like Dusk depend entirely on the user supplying a legitimate copy. This is what keeps the project legally and practically viable. Bundling game files into a distribution would change the project’s legal posture entirely — which is why responsible projects never do it, and why this site treats “full game” or “preconfigured” downloads as an immediate red flag.

What this website will never host

Out of scope, permanently

  • ROM, ISO or disc image downloads of any kind.
  • Mirrors of Dusk binaries or release archives.
  • Copyrighted artwork, audio, sprites, textures, or models from the original game.
  • “Preconfigured”, “all-in-one”, or “full game” bundles.
  • Keys, cracks, DRM-bypass tools, or circumvention tutorials.
  • Affiliate links to ROM sites, even disguised as utility links.

Safe setup checklist

  • I own a legally obtained copy of the original game.
  • I have computed the SHA-1 hash of my own copy and it matches a supported build.
  • I am downloading Dusk from the official project source only.
  • I am not running a bundled build that claims to include the game.
  • I understand this website does not provide game files.
