The three verified guides
Dusk won't launch
Cause: Permissions, missing libraries, GPU/Vulkan loader, or unsupported dump.
First fix: Run from a terminal so the first stderr line is visible, then walk down the diagnostic tree.
Disc image not recognized
Cause: SHA-1 mismatch — the file doesn't match a build Dusk knows about.
First fix: Recompute SHA-1 on your dump and compare against the supported list.
Unsupported version error
Cause: Hash doesn't match GameCube USA or PAL — wrong region, modified file, or unsupported revision.
First fix: Confirm SHA-1 matches the supported list. If it doesn't, re-extract from a clean source.
