Safe download policy
We never host or mirror ROMs, ISOs, disc images, or Dusk builds. Always download Dusk from the official project source.

Common traps
- Sites that bundle the binary with adware or unwanted toolbars.
- “Full game” or “preconfigured” downloads — illegal and often malicious.
- Lookalike domains (typosquats) hosting a different binary entirely.
- Asking you to disable antivirus “to install” — never do this.
- Asking for a payment to access an open-source project.
Safe-download checklist
- URL begins with the official project domain or github.com/TwilitRealm/dusk.
- Release page shows tag, commit and asset list.
- Asset is the binary or source archive only — not a 'full game' bundle.
- Antivirus does not flag the binary on first run.
- Filename and size match what the official release page lists.
What to do if you already downloaded a bad file
- Don’t run the binary.
- Move it to your OS’s quarantine / trash and run an antivirus scan.
- Re-download from the official source.
- If you ran it, change relevant passwords and review autorun entries.
